Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities :
+ Assist in developing, implementing, administering and maintaining policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of DoD Oracle databases
+ Implement data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes
+ Resolves database performance and capacity issues and replication and other distributed data issues
+ May need to interact with both commercial and government database managers or other database personnel and employees required to work with the database
Required Qualifications:
+ Experience with administering databases in a data center or in the cloud highly desirable
+ Prefer experience with administering DoD and Navy databases in Datacenters, such as DISA, to include the policies, procedures and regulations that must be followed when working within these environments
+ Must have or must obtain and maintain an Oracle Certified Professional Certification within six months of date of hire.
+ Must have or must obtain and maintain a Security+ certification within six months of date of hire.
+ Must be a US Citizen
+ Must have a final Secret Clearance or must obtain an interim Secret Clearance to start work
Education Requirements:
+ Accredited Bachelor?s Degree (preferably in an IT discipline) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in database administration
+ An Associate?s Degree (preferably in an IT discipline) and two (2) additional years of experience in database administration (total of 4 years) can be substituted for a Bachelor?s Degree
+ A High School Diploma and four (4) additional years of experience in database administration (total of 6 years) can be substituted for a Bachelor?s Degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
