SCA Engineering Technician

Northrop Grumman is seeking an SCA Engineering Technician to join our team in Yorktown, Virginia. This position is in our Progressive Depot Level Repair workgroup which provides the Mk 48 Intermediate Maintenance Activity with an onsite repair capability for the MK 48 Torpedo. The individual will complete a variety of maintenance actions and repairs using detailed procedures and will have oversight from a direct manager.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance actions using approved procedures (paper and electronic)
Accurately documents repair actions (paper and electronic)
Tests and accepts assemblies per approved acceptance test procedures
Maintains work stations and shop equipment
Uses common electronic test equipment, tests fixtures, and hands tools
May perform soldering tasks
Performs Crane operations within the facility
Supports continuous process improvement and innovation
Perform Quality Assurance Inspections/reviews
May perform audits
Basic Qualifications:
+ High school diploma / GED
+ Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
+ Must current possess a minimum active Interim Secret clearance.
+ Ability to wear Steel Toe Shoes and other safety gear
+ Ability to pass an Explosive Handler Physical
+ Proficiency in Microsoft products such as windows Desktop OS, Office product suite.
+ Must be able to lift 30 lb.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ AA Degree/2 year technical degree
+ 6 plus years related experience
+ DoD Secret security clearance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
